So, I owe money to my last institution for the last quarter I was in school. They sent it over to collections, and now I have to deal with the collection agency. What I want to know is: how does this affect my credit, relative to other (more serious) debt delinquencies? Ie. Credit cards, mortgage, loans, etc. Also, what can I do to get it off my credit history if it is even on there?
