Why are Muslim woman more respectful of their menfolk, than our western feminized women?

Why are Muslim woman more respectful of their menfolk, than our western feminized women?
Added (1). It's interesting how these women are still respectful, even if they are in our society. I guess it says that their culture is one that encourages good relations between a man and a woman. It also may suggest that our culture is backwards

My upstairs land lady tried to commit suicide?

and I have been in touch with her during her 3 week stay at the mental hospital. She has told me repeatedly that she is letting the house in which we live go to foreclosure. She has spent my security deposit. Last night she called me stating that she will be coming home today, and if I had the rent for January. I mentioned that she spent my security deposit so that is my rent for January. I think she is going to try to make me pay rent while she trys to get her act together… Even though she is letting the house go into foreclosure. Do I have to pay rent still? I plan on moving in the spring… It is the dead of winter here. What are my legal obligations for rental payments since she broke the lease? Thank you!
Added (1). Given all the instability and the fact that this woman is a danger to herself and others I have decided NOT to pay January rent. I will never get my security deposit back. I have started looking for a new place to live and hope to be out of here by the end of January.

Should I buy a home or eliminate my student loans first?

I graduated 5/15/15 with my BSN. Ended my college apt lease and moved back to my parents house with 55k in debt. I've started working full time in 8/15 as an RN in trauma (Working towards flight). Currently I'm making 30/hour, but I work OT consistently. My loans are down to 23k as of 9/16, but I'm still at my parents house. Should I just bust ***, work a lot of OT and clear my debt or put a down payment on a home? I start nurse practitioner school in 8/17, but I want to be settled in a home before the s*#t show starts. My credit score is 805, and I have no other debts besides my truck. And that payment is low. I cleared out all the variable interest loans first btw. Any advice would be appreciated. My loan payments are 305$/monthly.

Am I too young to invest in rental properties?

I just graduated college (debt free), I'm in graduate school and have a full time, good paying job. I've moved back home with my parents and everyone (friends, parents, girlfriend) keep telling me to look for apartments first. I keep discussing using FHA loans to get a multifamily and make some money, but everyone keeps telling me "Wait! You're still so young, you have plenty of time to do that." Am I being stubborn? Or am I right to pursue this?

Should I close an old gas card account that I no longer use? Would it improve my credit to keep or close it?

I no longer even have the physical Diamond Shamrock gasoline credit card that I opened around 1999, yet it still shows as an open account on my credit report. I really don't need to charge gas anymore, but don't know if closing it would improve or drop my score. Thanks

Will America experience its WORST financial MELTDOWN under Trump?

Under George W. Bush, we saw Reagan's disastrous tax plan of cutting taxes for the rich and government spending at high levels, de-regulation (lawlessness) for banks, financial institutions, lending and Wall Street… Useless foreign wars and a total redistribution of wealth in America as manufacturing moved overseas at an all time high, taking the jobs of Americans. Our economy was about to collapse, banks and large businesses declaring bankruptcy and failure. Home mortgages were under water due to predatory lending. Our savings, pensions and investments were all in danger of "disappearing". Total collapse.

Trump not only promises to cut taxes for the rich even more… He promises to RAISE taxes for the middle-class.

He WILL NOT bring back jobs, ensure a living wage, regulate banking and finance nor will he stop foreign wars or protect equality for all Americans.

So, how will you survive under Trump's regime?
Added (1). For some CRAZY REASON… Trump supporters just don't get this… Or JUST DON'T WANT TO GET THIS!
But Denial won't save them.

How come liberals say voter ID requirements prevent people from voting when:?

You don’t need a photo ID to vote, but you do need one to buy alcohol and cigarettes.
You need one to open a bank account, or to apply for a job to fill that bank account.
You also need an ID to file for unemployment, and to apply for welfare, and Medicaid, and food stamps.
You need a photo ID to apply for Social Security And to buy a home, and apply for a mortgage, or to rent a home.
You need a photo ID to drive a car, you need one to buy a new car, to buy a used car, to rent a car,
You need a photo ID to get on an airplane, and you need one to get married, and you need one to check into a hotel room for your honeymoon.
You need a photo ID to buy a gun, and to apply for a hunting license and a fishing license, and even to adopt a pet.
You need a photo ID to pick up a prescription, you need one to buy certain kinds of cold medicine, and you need one to donate blood.

You need a photo ID to enter a casino, and you need one to buy lottery tickets.

You need one to buy a video game that’s rated M for Mature, and you need one to see a movie rated NC-17.

You need a photo ID to buy a cell phone and apply for a coverage plan and, in perhaps the greatest irony of the entire Voter ID debate, you need a photo ID to hold a rally or protest, such as a rally or protest against requiring a photo ID to vote.

I feel we are enslaved by the system?

Does anyone feel the same? I mean, I know we have to eat and everything, but the whole idea of working until retirement 40 hours a week, with stress, it just feels like slavery to me.

And I don't feel there's a way out because you end up in the streets.

I kind of like those countries where people actually own their homes (no mortgage) and if they work, then it's just for them, not almost everything for bills. But then again, many of those countries don't have many jobs.

I just don't understand why so many people defend this system to death of working like slaves until death.

It just feels we have nothing and we're just getting by day by day and people talk about surgery and all sorts of medical issues like if it's nothing when lots of it is caused by the stress caused by the system.

I just don't get it.

I'm not saying I want to be lazy and not do a thing, I just wish most of my money didn't go to pay the interest on mortgage (or worse - rent and throw it out).

Lawyers, or ANYONE with knowledge on this please give me some advice/direction?!

Hi, so long story short. My moms and I lived with her ex boyfriend (they were never married) for 7 years until last month when we moved back to our home state. My mom says she cant loose contact with her ex BF because they bought a house together. I dont exactly know whos money went into this house (i think her BF was the one who paid for the actual house) but my moms name is on the house. She said she isnt walking away from it because half the money is hers. He wont sell the house either. What could she do legally if she and him both paid for the house with both names on it? Also, what could she do if he paid for the entire thing with both their names on the house? The house is completely paid off no mortgage. Any advice/knowledge would be appreciated! Thanks!

Do you consider Orange County part of LA?

I know technically it's not, but it seems like basically the same culture and mindset as LA: superficial, self-centered, private, and the only way it's different is that it's a little more conservative and quiet.

Should I quit my shitty job before I've locked in another one?

I work as a night assistant for my University, the job basically entails sitting at a desk from 11pm to 4am 4 nights a week. The management is incompetent and dismal at communicating information, could not even provide me with a uniform shirt in medium size. The late hours really wore me down this semester with not getting enough sleep before class. The job is also not connected at all with my career goals and won't look that good on a resume because it requires no skills. I also think I have a good chance at getting a job with the library that is connected to my future career, but it's not certain that I'll get the job. Also (and I feel a bit immature for feeling like this is a big issue) at the last minute they decided that returners have to go to mid-year training (initially we didn't have to) which falls early morning on the day of and the day after my boyfriend and I's 21st birthday which we've been planning for months and they won't let me skip the training.

I really want to just turn in my 2 weeks notice now, celebrate my birthday in peace, and hope I get the library job but my dad keeps lecturing me on waiting until I've got the new job before quitting the old one and I know he'll be disappointed if I go ahead and quit but I really don't want to have to cancel special plans for a bad job that I don't plan to keep anyway (even if I don't get the library job I'm looking for a different one somewhere else). Should I go ahead and quit?
Added (1). I also live on campus so housing and food are taken care of with or without the job. I'm absolutely going to have to quit it when I move off campus next summer anyway because night assistants have to live on campus.

Why do liberals think Obamacare is good?

It's obviously a horrible law. I can't get health insurance now because of it. Before the law I could buy it. Why are they worried about Trump getting rid of it? It will be better without it, I can't wait.

But I want to know why they like it?

Personal finance homework help?

There are two common choices for the term of a home mortgage: 15 years or 30 years. Suppose you need to borrow $90,000 at an APR of 6.75% to buy a home. How much interest will you have paid by the end of the 15 year loan? What will your monthly payment be if you opt for a 15 year mortgage?
