I have a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house. I want to rent out the master bedroom including the personal bathroom and we'd be sharing the living room, dining room, kitchen, washer/dryer, and sharing the 3rd room. How much do I charge for rent? Should it be based on how much my mortgage costs, or charge by how much apartments cost in the area? Also I pay the property taxes, homeowners insurance, and any maintenance costs when something needs repaired. And is liti g the utilities 50/50 fair?
