I am the main income provider in my marriage, my wife works part time and doesn't earn much at all. We were preapproved earlier this year for a loan to build a home but decided to wait until spring of next year. My wife is wanting to change jobs and possibly even profession. How will this effect the mortgage process next year. She provides about 1/10th of our income as of now.
