I will be filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy due to Divorce and loss of income next Year. I plan on keeping my home, but I am worried though. I have a home, and due to the significant loss of income, I'm struggling to keep up with the mortgage payments. I may fall behind this month. A coworker who filed Chapter 7 said I have to be current on Mortgage if I want to keep my home when I file. Is this true? I've tried a Home Loan Modification, but I was denied. Any answers?
