Found a property in decent shape that someone stopped remodeling. It's only worth 20k but I'd like to secure a mortgage for it for 40k which would solve everything wrong with it possibly tripling the property value. Would a bank do something like this? I can get just the mortgage for like 90 a month so I'm curious if I can't get more. Any advice?
