Federal taxes and Princial Mortgage payment?
Added (1). Ok, So we dropped $120,000 cash on our house in 2011 after one year of having the mortgage. We were supposed to file this on tax returns? I am under the impression no, but wanted clariffication.
No, we didnt pay enough on property taxes to Itemize and qualify for the mortgage interest deduction, so the governemnt sint subsidizing our Home. Kinda sucks that the responsible ones dont get compensated, but ohh well. Please let me know your opinion, Thanks
