Is there anyone that can help?

ok here goes…
I am a 21 year old girl, and I share a flat with my 23year old boyfriend. We both work full time and have a lovely little Jack Russell puppy.
Right now we are desperately trying to save for a house, nothing fancy just a homely 2 bedroomed house. Our bills currently sit at around 1,290 per month- we can afford this fine, however if we were paying a mortgage instead of rent, we would be paying our house off instead of someone else's! The problem is that we need the money for a deposit to get the mortgage. I'm sorry if this sounds inappropriate to ask but is there anyone out there who has alot of money and would be able to spare anything? I know there are alot if worse things out there but we I really want to start our life's together in our first family home. The more I think about it the more depressed I get about it. I even went out to a casino without my partener knowing with the 300 I had safed to try and double it or more and I ended up losing it all. We work so hard and we don't have anything to show for it. I know life isn't about material things but I literally never spend money on luxury things so we can save it, please someone somewhere help me, help us, we just need help to start
