Partner has mortgage with ex wife - will this affect me financialy if we marry?

Basically Ex wife is refusing to sign over her half of the house. She signed the transfer of equity to both of us and seemed happy enough but now she won't sign the land registry to us.

We are planning on getting married and I know finances are shared when wed so does this mean I'm liable for the mortgage too since she's refusing to budge?

We have solicitors trying to do it nicely but it appears we will have to involve the courts to forcibly remove her since she's never contributed and moved out 5 years ago and apparently this can take time:(
