We are tenant and foreclosing our house?

Hello people,
Our landowner had a mortgage and he stopped to paying it like couples years ago. We moved in without knowing it and we've been living in this house for two years. Now we got papers from bank states that we have to move out, but we have a contract until January 1st 2016. So, according to our contract we have still couple more months. We just received a paper that states we have court date in a week. I don't know what can we do right know. Can anyone please advice me about this situation/
