Can someone be honest with me… Am i right or being unfair?

i'm 21 and still live with my mum
i work on a zero contract hour job so i'm not guaranteed full time hours
i give my mum 40 percent of everything i earn.
but because she's in debt and wants more money she says i should pay her more because shes in debt and has to pay the mortgage for the house and she keeps shouting at me saying shes paid for me over the years so i should pay her nearly all my wages.

am i right in saying no?
i do give her more money sometimes but she wants most of it
am i right or wrong in this?
