Is IRS 1040 form an acceptable proof of residency for Illinois Driver's License?

I am having the need of getting an Illinois driver's license ASAP, but I don't have enough documents as proof of residency since I haven't been living in US for the past 6 years. I can get a voided check from a bank (which I'll have to open a new bank account for) but I was wondering if I'l l be able to provide my parents' tax documents as proof of address since I was listed as a dependent.
