How to be hidden from a skip tracer and junk mail companies?

I have two problems, skip tracers have recently been able to find me for old debts and I also have many junk mail for credit cards. Some how they got my information. I am going to be moving soon so with my new address I don't want to make mistakes this time. I am going to get a mortgage to pay for my new home, is that information used confidential and can not be sent to phishing companies?
