In UK Law, can you still be liable for a debt after bankyruptcy?
Added (1). I declared bankruptcy in 2009 and went through the whole process including having my house repossessed. It was not a nice time. Now, I am able to get things like a mobile phone contract etc. But on looking at my credit report, I discovered that my mortgage company are still showing an outstanding mortgage on my house and reporting in monthly in default since the repossession. Should this be cleared as my other debts were and if so, how do I sort it? They will not reply to my letters or calls.
