Lets say that i'm stil staying with my parents for free. Can I just pocket that money so that I can use it later to put into a down payment for a house (I know I don't have to put a down payment but I want to) so that I can have a smaller mortgage to pay? Or will I lose it if I don't use it? I'm just asking because it sounds like something they would do.
