I did my taxes last night. Thanks to decent to the end declining years of Bush and especially the terrible tax codes of Obama I was expecting about $300 some dollars if I was lucky. Now I do use 1 exemption for myself. I would do no exemptions but thanks to Obama I can't write off the interest in my mortgage because the deductions were ridiculously high.
I was shocked that I'm getting $1200 back. I thought it was a mistype I did and triple checked. This is even after a small raise last year.
