Long story short… Me and my husband are selling our house and moving out of state (so new jobs). He has atm a 45k salary, i have a 25k salary. We're moving into a friends house until we establish new jobs. We will have a substantial down payment of around 40k from the house we're currently selling. I'm wondering if we would be allowed a mortgage from the bank (both have good credit) if we have only had 'new' jobs for about a year…
