i am 27 and when i was 19 my younger days i got a car on hp and a loan but never paid it back. Tho i did give the car back after 4 months. But now ive setteld down and would love to buy a house. But with my disastrous credit rating i will never get it. If i were to pay my creditors in a lump sum say £6000 how long would it take for a bank to give me a current account and then a mortgage?
