I haven't made a mortgage payment in 3 years. 30+ thousand behind. Lender is moving forward with foreclosure. Tried short sale years ago. Bank was incompetent in processing paperwork. I deployed shortly after. I know about scra. My only answer I am looking for is to the question - Will my credit score drop or rise with a foreclosure vs. 30k+ in unpaid mortgage?
