If Scotland were to become independent what will happen?
They would have to take on part of their national debt (yes?) so that will be a big problem for their country.
Would they have to pay for their own army and health care?
And what effect would this have on Britain? I've read that mortgages will go up and the value of the pound will decrease (temporarily).
I'm asking this because it confuses me as to why Scotland want independence when it would just cause problems for the country.
