I wondered if anyone could give me some Uk based advise on buying off plan. The problem I have is you cant get a mortgage out until 9 months before completion but the building firm want the mortgage and exchange of contracts sorted within 28 days, even though it will not be built for a year, I wondered if anyone has had a similar situation happen to them and what you can do about it?
