My husband and I are currently renting a home, but we would like to start looking into buying one. Problem is we know NOTHING about buying a home, home loans, mortgages, down payments ect. What types of loans are there? What percentage of a down payment would have to put down for each loan type? Any information to help us better understand home loans would be appreciated!
