I am currently 20 years old with a 649 transunion credit score, my equifax score is 689. I currently have 3 credit cards. One being a bank credit card and two others being capital one.
Capital One Secured - $400 credit limit
Capital One - $300 credit limit
Local Bank - $300 credit limit
I also have a loan from the bank that I got co-signed for $7000. I paid $2000 off in only 2 months.
I don't plan on moving any time this next year or anything but how long until I should be able to get a good mortgage from a bank that charges a fair interest rate?
Also, what steps should I take in order to better my chances?
