EX: I have a mortgage ofr $1000 a month. I will be leaving out of the country for a business trip and I will be gone for 6 months. I would like to prepay 6 months worth of mortage. Will the bank allow me to send them a $6,000 check to cover all 6 months while I'm gone?
To clarify, I'm not planning to pay the mortgage off early, I'm not planning to pay down the principles.
