We got word that the buyers loan officer wants to extend closing 10 days. Our realtor says that's not acceptable because it'll be too close to Memorial Day and then they might want to extend it longer and we'll miss that holiday (for sale, if this sale falls through). Does it seem like they're having a tough time getting the money together to buy the house? We were supposed to close on May 12th and now it's (maybe) the 22nd. What should we do? The buyers have an FHA loan and this is the first house we've sold. Thank you.
