What is the best way to get school done with my current situation?

Here is the deal. I’m 40 years old and I am a single dad (300 days a year). I work full time in a job I don’t like too much and I am trying to get my teachers certification in social studies. I own a house ($1300 mortgage, utilities) and live alone. I want to enroll into a teachers certification program but it requires at least 20 hours of week of study. With taking care of a kid most of the time, working 40 hours a week, etc. I don’t know how I’m going to have time to finish this certification. Plus, I will have to take off 2 months at least to do student teaching. I think I would be spreading myself thin.

What do I do? Get a part time job? Take out loans to go to school and live on? Do I get a roommate? The program takes an average of 1.5 to 2 years to complete with 20 hours of work put into it. The longer it takes the more they charge you. I would like to finish in two years.
