How long would it take to pay off a 100k debt?

I don't know what the average income is in CA, but if you do can you please help me estimate how long it would take for an "average" office employee to pay off a 100k debt, assuming their monthly expense is also an "average" of CA (doesn't socialize much, tries to budget). Thanks.
