Overview:
In the year 2499, a planet hidden to Earth by its technology is discovered 3.2 million km away. The Democratic Federation of Unity (DFU) has evolved almost identically to Earth with much of the same technology with slight advancements. With its abundance of natural resources, the DFU now trades with countries on Earth and occasionally welcomes their citizens as immigrants.
Economy

Every working citizen is given 5 000 CR/Month of employment regardless of occupation
CR amount may be deducted situationally
CR is tied to the initial owner and cannot be used by others
CR used in transactions are automatically sent back to the Government
Persons who wish to start a business are given an additional 10 000 CR as startup credits which can only be used towards the business

(Retirement)
Age requirement at 100 (2499, life expectancy = ~130)
Required to have worked minimum of 40 years
Pension: 2 000 CR + (750-1500 CR) depending on how long they worked
(Housing)
Free government apartments (and basic furniture) are given out to those who have worked at least 5 years
Other housing must be bought up front (paying with credits and no mortgage)
Cost of housing example: 4 bed, 3 bath, 2 500 sqft house= 400 000 CR
