Income taxes from old converted 401K?

I am a disabled person with money from a 401k. I am wanting to know if I take funds in it to pay off mortgage will I have to pay income taxes on this money. I know being disabled there is no penalty taking out funds I just am unsure if I would have to pay income on money. Thank You
