I currently live with fiance & his family?

Almost 10 people total. We have no kids, but there are kids. I am jump starting my career. I don't want to leave/move out, being that it will put my fiance in limbo. He wouldn't want to leave his parents as he agreed to help pay half the mortgage.
Do I hold my breath, tolerate, & sacrifice freedom/happiness/comfortability? Will it be selfish for me to want to start my career out of town?
