Can my ex filing for child support cause my mortgage not to go through?

My ex decided to file for child support after 9 years. She always said the child wasn t mine but now the story has changed since I am now married, having another child, buying a home, and she has broken up with her boyfriend. I put an offer on on a house on Saturday and received papers for child support on Monday. Can this issue cause my mortgage not to go through? If the child is indeed mine there isn t any problem at all with me helping support them and being a part of their life. The timing of everything just seems a little shady.
