Can you purchase a home with cash?

Got a lawsuit thats ending soon and I plan on purchasing a foreclosure home (30k) and fix it up myself. But anyway i have no bank accounts and i dont want a mortgage. Do banks accept cash in hand type offers, or even maybe a cashier's check? I have all paperwork stating when how and why I'am getting a large sum of money… Thank you in advance
