They should make kids signing up for college take a life 101 class. Like before they can take college classes take something like a prep class. That teaches kids how much money they will make graduating. Where will they live? Is the job competitive? Is the job increasing or decreasing? Then do a comparative to will they be able to pay back loans. And taking out a house mortgage and understanding payments. Like people take out loans go for the cheaper payment a month. It ends up costing more because they pay longer collateral. That and healthy relationships. Or even what makes a good deal for a car. I had to figure this out on my own. It is not fun. Or how to get medical insurance.
Added (1). Yeah, would you rather have someone else teach you. We learn dumb stuff like how to play the flute in college. Stuff we never use.
