I was today to a couch help for an acquaintance. She's retired, divorced, and recently bought a home to live for the rest of her life with her 2 doggos and 2 birds (I hate doggos and birds, don't even know what type of them were). I didn't wanted to question her so she don't feel awkward, but, why on earth do people buy these houses? I mean, the house was pretty cool and neat, and probably cheap, but you have to pay the lot rent! The lot rent is slightly smaller, than a mortgage or a rent! Why not buying a real house and pass it on to your children when you die?
