Hello,
Me and my wife got our offer accepted on our first house. The closing date is 07.31.14.
We just ordered are appraisal which should be done next week. Our bank is saying we have plenty of time to close by 07.31.14
The issue is, my wife's current job has been a real nightmare for her for the last 8 months but she has been sticking it out so we cna buy a house. A great job opportunity came up and she has her 2nd interview this Friday the 11th. Same exact field/position and greater pay.
Should we let our lendor know that she has an interview, and she might be offered the position, or should we wait and see type deal? The only reason why I am worried about the wait and see is if after the interview they offer her the position and we won't know what to tell the potential employer on a start date.
Also, our mortgage specialist is also going to be our underwriter (Small Bank) so I am worried this might scare her off.
Any thought? Thanks!
