My 28 year old wife just got diagnosed with Crones and Gastroparesis. She is literally in a fetal position all day. She also has lost 90 lbs since February. She works as a school teacher and has been wrote up 5 times for attendance. Sometimes she has "accidents". They told her to resign or be fired. We need her income to survive. Together we have an income around 4000.00 Per month I make after tax 1100.00 every two weeks for 2200.00. Our expenses are 1700.00 a month not counting gas or food. We own our own home with a mortgage of 445.00. Is it true she is not covered for disability insurance? Due to the fact I make what I make? What can I do?
