Aug 13 - my then boyfriend and I brought a house. Everything is 50/50.
He is inheriting his grandmothers house (she is still alive, it is more of a gift - to us both in her words). We are getting married Oct 15. Everything is being finalized with the deeds transfer into both our names.
What happens if we divorce / the marriage doesn't go ahead? We are looking to sell our current property and move into his grandmothers with a mortgage free life. I just worry that if the relationship turns sour I would have lost my 50% of the house plus deposit.
