I want a baby but I don't have a mortgage?

I am currently saving to get a mortgage in hopefully the next couple of years but I have been feeling very broody the last couple of years! I'm only 22 years old and have been with my bf for 3 years and I feel like I want a child but I want a mortgage too. I would like to be a young mum and would like to still be 22 when I have a child but I don't want a baby to effect me getting a mortgage. How do I decide what to do? Please do not say "do what is most important to you" because I feel that both are equally important and I have been debating this dilemma for a long time. I would happily have a child if I knew it wouldn't effect Me getting a mortgage.
