How much money will I be able to save as a Royal Marine commando officer?

If I join through direct entry at 18, I ll be paid 25k that year. I was under the assumption that I could save close to 25k that year if I chose to not spend much money as I wouldn t need to spend much because I d be accommodated etc.
To any current or former RM Officers how much money will I be able to save during training and whilst in service? (I m 16 and have no commitments and probably won t have any at 18 either so no money to mortgage or wife or children etc.)
