Can i get a mortgage loan jus to buy land?

since i cant get a mortgage loan for a single wide mobile home can i jus get land? Whats the maximun they will lend me if yes? I was thinkin get the mobile home after i get land. Tricks huh? Trick r for kids? Maybe not. Wat you think?
