Hi need advice or suggestion I was in process of building new home and renting home key handover?

Hi need advice or suggestion I was in process of building new home and during the process I checked with the dealing hand regarding my current renting property lease extension which they ensure should be okay if I'll go for extension of 6 months so I did and now the house is ready 2 months before my lease expired where I am having issues in accepting the keys which means if I go ahead I have to pay at both sides whisk is not affordable for me and I have even explained this to my builder lot of times but they are not trying to cooperate for 2 months only. What should I do in this situation.
