Would it be more strategic to keep my job for a year in my situation?

I recently graduated college with a degree in finance and interned for a global wealth management firm. I had a very high GPA and I thought I did everything right but finding a job after college was so difficult. I desperately accepted a job as a bank teller in october for a credit union. I feel like I am absolutely wasting my time because this is not the career path I see myself going for. I see new job postings externally but I am afraid it is too soon to be job hopping. Call it luck but I am actually pretty good in cross selling bank products and have been selling very frequently which determined your annual review for promotions and bonuses. I have a good relationship with my manager and according to the branch manager he likes my customer service skills and is amazed by my pace for someone who started off new. I work at the main branch so we are constantly bombarded by customers. If anything my plan is to stay for a year and hopefully get promoted to Teller 2 than start applying for jobs externally.
Added (1). I saw an entry level mortgage loan processor position open up that requires a college degree and office experience which I have. My family wealth has been built from real estate. I live in Hawaii so investments is not very big but we do have a real estate market that has been booming. Maybe a shift in real estate would not hurt.
