Buying my first house or rent apartment at 21 years old?

So I just turned 21 and have been living at home. I m getting to the point where I m ready to get my own place and have some money saved up but not sure if I should rent an apartment or buy a house. I m a single guy that was fortunate enough to start my career at a young age making between 120k-150k a year. Would buying a house before marriage be a good or bad idea?
