How can we get 30-40 point on my credit ASAP?

We recently got approved for a FHA loan & our realtor told us about a program that will give us a grant for closing costs/down payment but we need his score to be a 640.

We have disputed everything off of his credit except an old credit card that Wells Fargo refuses to delete even if it's paid off.

What can we do to get more points on his credit? All he has is a car loan right now and we need to move out within the next 2 months. Please help?
