What is the true cost of living in the UK?

Hi, with in the next year or so I'll be looking to move out of my parents home into a house of flat with my girlfriend of 4 years.

But baring mortgage/rent, council tax, food cost and tv lience we're not sure what the cost of living would be.

We would be grateful if someone would be able to break it down as small as possible for weekly/monthly outgoings so we have a better idea of what to expect when we do and if our wages would cover it.
