Why is the electrical output of Wind much lower than the Installed Capacity of Wind power?

Homework question I need help on… This is the full question:

"The installed capacity of Wind is much higher than the installed capacity of Geothermal energy. However, the electrical output of both systems are much closer. Why is the electrical output of Wind much lower than the Installed Capacity of Wind power?"

Also wouldn't mind having help on this one other problem:

"What and how do the following affect the economics of wind power?
a) location
b) rent of the land
c) mortgage interest rates
d) cost of wholesale electricity
e) tax incentives / producer price credits

Write a complete explanation and example calculation which could determine if it is economical or not to do."

Thanks:)
