My wife and I are trying to decide how to pay bills with both of our salaries. Her salary covers the mortgage of our house and vacation home, and all other bills. We then thought of saving 2/3 of my salary, and spending 1/3 on luxuries (holidays, new appliances etc.), and pocket money for our children.
