Please advise on filing personal bankruptcy?

Please advise on filing personal bankruptcy? - 1
Added (1). I am on SS disability, have run through my savings, and have large credit card debt plus a mortgage. I can pay my mortgage, but not the cc. Can they possess my material assets(car, home, piano) or not? Please help.
