Has anyone ditched home life for a FT RV or Travel Trailer?

If yes, could you share what that's been like & whether you regret doing it, if it's given you more freedom & free time with less work, what sort of work you do for income & apx. How much it's been costing you to live this way compared to before you consolidated & downsized?
Also have you found that to live in a really nice area for a chunk of time, does it cost pretty much the same as it was before you sold your home or moved out of the "normal" way of living?
Pro's & cons?
What you bought, manuf. Name, length, style, etc. & what you wished you bought if it's something different. (or what you want to save up for)
& of course the area's you have traveled & loved the best. Best thing you ever did to upgrade (like solar)
any temperature or insulation issues?
Age, gender
& the worst thing that happened to you where you nearly lost your mind from it (like some horrid water leak in the middle of the night during a storm or almost being blown in bad weather)
What is the best travel trailer for a single person that would be easy to tow (for a woman) & live in FT? I'm thinking fiberglass like Casita, Oliver or Scamp, seems they won't ever get mold or leaks & stay cooler in summer, warmer in winter. Please SHARE YOUR STORIES! I want to hear lots of stories - trying to decide. I'm sick of the financial pressure with a mortgage. Been living to work for most of my years & I want a positive change.
