NYC: Condo primary residence or investment property difference in taxes paid?

Im looking to buy a condo for my daughter to live in, but because i already have a primary residence, the mortgage will be filed as an investment property. What are the advantages with taxes in having primary residence vs investment property? Difference in taxes
